Autumn - like the season, my name means time of the harvest.
A.K.A. Auntie Autumn, Fallika, Doodlebug, Shup. God lover, artistic, photographer, inquisitive, music lover, bookworm, athletic, Tarheel fanatic, petite but not short, chew toy for the dog, Procrastinator Club Co-Founder (because there has to be someone worse than me). I’m a executive secretary by day, a Pampered Chef consultant by night and a youth mentor for life… and Wonder Woman is my hero.
My dream is to have a family, a wonderful husband, and to work as my own boss. I love being a teacher and mentor to young women. It’s the calling God placed on my heart years ago. Now if I can only figure the rest of my life out, I’ll be all set. I’m considering going back for my Masters degree to work with kids more and help those less advantaged.
I started this blog at a time in my life when I was truly beginning to understand what it means to step out on faith, obey and trust God. I know what it means to keep moving forward through hard times while taking bold steps of faith. My blog is real, just me living life. Hopefully you enjoy my sarcasim and pondering thoughts. You may see some of my struggles and disappointments, but you will also see how good and faithful God has been and how I love Him. I desire to be genuine and real, there is absolutely no desire to impress you by appearing to be the perfect little Christian and write only about holiness. I’m imperfect, full of flaws and struggles and completely dependent on the grace of God.
I like to think, ask questions and I love research and learning. Comments are welcome, it’s like getting a card in the mail! Most of all the comments will be approved… no matter how wrong they are. Just kidding… sort of. The one thing I ask of you is that you be respectful. Happy blogging!
“Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.” ~ Colossians 3:17
